Maumee City School District - Board Resolution - May 2nd, 2022
WHEREAS, for over 40 years, Jim Robinson (“Robinson”) has coached multiple sports throughout the state of Ohio, including 21 seasons coaching basketball with Maumee City Schools, AND,
WHEREAS, throughout his coaching career, Robinson twice was named Toledo Blade Coach of the Year, is a member of the District 7 Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame, and has amassed over 530 varsity basketball victories, AND,
WHEREAS, in recognition of Robinson’s career, generous support has been provided for the Maumee High School basketball court, scholarships for athletes, and gymnasium floor maintenance, AND,
WHEREAS, the dedication and naming of the Maumee High School basketball court recognizes the generous support described above,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Board of Education of the Maumee City School District hereby approves the dedication and naming of the Maumee High School basketball court as “Jim Robinson Sr. Court”
